Xiaomi has announced 3 RedmiBook Ryzen Edition laptops

Besides new smartphones, Xiaomi today presented a series of laptops for young people RedmiBook Ryzen Edition.

As the name implies, these laptops are equipped with AMD stuffing - inside they have Ryzen 5 4500U chips, which provide a performance increase of 60% (compared to previous models RedmiBook). There are three modes of operation, depending on the tasks to be performed.

The RedmiBook Ryzen Edition will be available for purchase in three versions: 13 ″, 14 ″ and 16 ″. All of them have very narrow bezels and high-quality IPS-matrices with coverage of 100% sRGB-gamut.

Particular attention was paid to the presentation of the 16-inch novelty, which has a very low weight for its class - only 1.8 kg. A 46 Wh battery is responsible for the autonomous operation of the laptop, which provides up to 12 hours of operation without recharging. It can be refueled via the USB-C port. There is support for fast charging via a very compact 65W adapter - 50% in 38 minutes.

It will be possible to unlock laptops using Xiaomi Mi Band bracelets - all you need to do is bring your hand to the device.

Sales of laptops in China will start on June 1. The prices of versions with 512 GB of memory and 16 GB of RAM are almost identical:

• RedmiBook Ryzen Edition 13: 3,799 yuan (≈38,100 rubles);
• RedmiBook Ryzen Edition 14: 3,699 yuan (≈37,100 rubles);
• RedmiBook Ryzen Edition 16: 3,799 yuan (≈38,100 rubles).
