1. Rewind video
Unwinding the rollers by dragging your finger along the timeline strip below is tedious and not always convenient. Double-tap the right side of the screen to scroll forward ten seconds on the video track and backward with the left. It's easier and more accurate, especially in long videos.
2. Rewind setting
Tap your avatar and go to Settings to open YouTube options. There, select "General" → "Double tap rewind" and specify how many seconds it costs to rewind the video with the gesture described in the previous paragraph.
3. Disable autoplay
When one video ends, YouTube gives you a second after a short pause. Sometimes it's annoying. Click on the Autoplay radio button next to the Next section and no new recordings will start at the end of the video.
4. Deleting search terms
If you were looking for something that you would not like to show to anyone, click on the search icon at the top. In the drop-down list, select and hold the unnecessary request, and you will be prompted to delete it.
5. Pause history recording

6. Search for related videos

Slide your finger over the video from top to bottom, and the video will collapse to the bottom panel. You can explore other channels and watch the current video in parallel. If you want to close it, click on the cross on the panel or swipe to the side.
8. Skipping video
By swiping from left to right or from right to left, you can jump to the next or previous video in the queue. The same will happen if you click on the arrows.
9. Sort videos in the Watch Later list
Open Library → Watch Later and click the Organize button. Select the ranking by the date of addition and you can filter out the less important and finally view those videos that were added here a long time ago, but forgot about them.
10. Manage notifications
Sometimes YouTube is too annoying with its notifications: daily summaries, fresh broadcasts, new comments. Fortunately, this can be easily customized. Click on your avatar and select "Settings" → "Notifications". Here you can turn off unnecessary pop-up messages or set a time when YouTube will not show them ("Quiet hours").
