News / / January 03, 2021
Non-working days in Russia have been extended until May 11 inclusive. Vladimir Putin announced this as part of a speech at a regular meeting with the heads of regions and the government. The President especially emphasized that May 6, 7 and 8 will be non-working with salary retention.
The President also noted that in Russia it was possible to slow down the spread of the epidemic, but its peak has not yet been passed, so it is too early to relax. There will be no one-step exit from the isolation regime on May 12 - all restrictions will be lifted gradually.
As in April, emergency services, pharmacies, shops, banks, public transport, the Pension Fund and authorities will continue to operate as usual. The new weekend does not apply to them.
System digital passes in Moscow and the Moscow region will also continue to work until May 11.
