Samsung showed smartphones Galaxy A21 and A41

Samsung has officially updated its mid-range Galaxy A lineup with two new models: the Galaxy A21 with 4 cameras and its more compact "big brother" Galaxy A41.

Galaxy A21

The more budgetary of the two new products, the Galaxy A21 inherited from last year's Galaxy A20s and received a 6.5-inch display with a hole for a 13MP selfie camera. The processor is not named, but the amount of RAM is 3 GB, the storage capacity is only 32 GB. More memory will help to add a micro SD slot - it supports cards up to 512 GB.

Interestingly, of the two new products, it is the A21 that will receive a quadruple camera: it consists of a 16 megapixel main sensor, an 8 megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. 4,000mAh battery supports 15W fast charging

The price of new items in the United States was $ 249, or about 18 350 rubles; it should go on sale in the States by the end of the month.

Galaxy A41

It is interesting that the new items were presented in different countries: if the A21 was announced in the USA, then the Galaxy A41

debuted in Germany, two weeks after the presentation in Japan. Unlike the Asian version, the global one lost its protection from water, which was one of the main features of the device.

Otherwise, the European and Japanese versions are identical: 6.1-inch display with FHD + resolution and a teardrop notch for the front camera with 25 MP, the main camera is 48 + 8 + 5 MP and the weight is only 152 g. The name of the processor was not specified, but the Japanese version used the 8-core MediaTek Helio P65.

The volume of internal memory is only 64 GB, but using micro SD the drive can be expanded up to 512 GB. At the same time, the smartphone has two slots for SIM cards, which can be used simultaneously. The second slot is not hybrid, so you won't have to choose between a second SIM card and additional memory. The battery with a capacity of 3,500 mAh supports fast charging up to 15 W.

The novelty was estimated at 299 euros, or about 24 thousand rubles. It will go on sale in Germany in May 2020, the date of the Russian release and the official price in rubles have not yet been specified.

Also the company announced 5G versions of Galaxy A51 and A71 are the older models of the line, which presented in December 2019.
