Skype video calls are now available without registration

Since we are all at home now, video communication is needed more than ever. Sometimes this is the only way to connect with family, friends, and sometimes employer. The most popular video conferencing tool is Zoom. It allows you to make free 40-minute conference calls for up to 100 people. This allows real online parties. But what if you need to talk continuously for several hours when, for example, you are working on a complex project or are just used to talking to a loved one for a long time?
Good old Skype comes to the rescue, which with the latest update has acquired the new Meet Now function. It works like this: you click on the "Meeting" button in the installed Skype client or simply in the web interface, in the browser. Copy the created link and send it to friends or colleagues. That's it, the video conference has been created.
Anyone with a link can join. No need to register or install Skype - everything works right in the browser.
If you do not use Skype yourself, do not want to download it or log into the web client, you can still create a conference using a special pages.
The number of participants in voice communication should not exceed 50, but in a text chat they may may attend up to 600 people. There are no restrictions on the duration of the communication session - you can create a meeting in advance, and then join it later. Call records are stored for 30 days, which is convenient for webinars and interviews.
Skype cannot yet add cool backgroundslike Zoom, but you can blur the background behind your back so that no one can see what a mess you have. This feature is already active by default.
