Vladimir Putin has extended non-working days until April 30 with salary retention. The president announced this in his new address to the Russians on April 2.
The extension of the vacation is due to the persistence of a dangerous situation in Russian cities, where the number of COVID-19 cases continues to grow. To date, the total number of infected people in the country is 3,548.
Also, Vladimir Putin noted that if the situation changes, the holidays can be shortened.
As in this week, emergency services, pharmacies, shops, banks, public transport, the Pension Fund and the authorities will continue to work as usual. The weekend does not apply to them.
Let us remind you that today in almost all regions the country introduced a self-isolation regime. Prohibiting leaving the house unless absolutely necessary.
