Yandex will show the level of self-isolation in Russia
News / / January 03, 2021
The maximum score will indicate that the city has become quiet as at night.
Yandex, by analogy with traffic jams, began to assess the level of self-isolation of Russians in various cities. It is calculated by comparing urban activity now and on a typical day before the outbreak. If the values are equal, then the level of self-isolation is low, 0 points, and this is bad.
The maximum score, this is 5, will indicate that the city has become as quiet as at night. In such conditions, it is more difficult for the virus to spread. Moscow and St. Petersburg now have 3 points each.
What the grades say:
- 0-2.4: there are many people on the street;
- 2.5-3.9: most people are at home;
- 4-5: there is almost no one on the street.
You can view the current score for all cities with a population of more than 100 thousand people on a special page service "Yandex. Cards". From it you can go to coronavirus distribution map.
