Usually, a search from the Windows 10 taskbar will help you find some system settings or a file in memory. However, very soon it may turn into a more functional mini-browser tool. About it reports Slashgear.
With the updated version of the search, it will be possible to search not only data on a computer, but also information on the Web. Moreover, right from the panel it will be possible to scroll through news feeds, perform simple calculations and use visual search by images.
Of course, Bing will be used by default for web searches, and if you need to switch to a full-fledged browser, then Edge will turn on. Thus, Microsoft clearly wants to attract more attention to proprietary services. It is impossible to replace them with alternative ones, at least not yet.
The updated Windows 10 search is now rolling out to users in English-speaking countries, and will be available in other regions in the near future.
