Heart rate sensor, smartphone notifications, solar charging, GPS and more.
The Japanese company Casio has presented a new model of shockproof electronic watch G-SHOCK GBD-H1000. She received a brutal case with protection from water (20 ATM) and design elements made of high-strength polymer.
The watch is equipped with an optical heart rate monitor and a set of sensors to track physical activity, blood oxygen level, direction of movement, changes in altitude, temperature and atmospheric pressure. The built-in GPS module allows you to save travel routes that are transmitted via Bluetooth to your smartphone.
There is an automatic time correction function, as well as traditional alarms, timers, stopwatches, and even the ability to view notifications from a smartphone. All notifications about new events can be accompanied by vibration. The display has LED backlighting.
The G-SHOCK GBD-H1000 is charged from a special USB connector, like any other smartwatch, but it can also be powered by solar energy. In terms of autonomy, it is declared about 12 months - this is in the mode of constant counting of steps and notifications. With continuous heart rate measurement, the battery will last for 66 hours of operation, and with GPS - for 14 hours.
The price of GBD-H1000 in Japan was 50,000 yen excluding taxes (≈30,000 rubles). Model available in four colors.
Casio released a rugged watch last year PRO TREK Smart Powered by Wear OS Mobile Platform and Heavy Duty Model G-Shock Mudmaster GG-B100 with built-in pedometer.
