Studio THQ Nordic has officially confirmed that it will release a remake of the first "Gothic". It will be a completely revamped Unreal Engine 4 game with modern graphics.

If the news sounds familiar, then you are not mistaken: the creators have already announced this project and even released a demo version on Steam last December. But the further fate of the project depended on the first players and their assessments. According to the creators, 180 thousand people passed the "game trailer" in two months, and 95% of the votes in favor, whether a remake is needed or not, showed that it was time to make the game.
