AirDrop has long been one of the benefits of Apple's ecosystem, but Samsung has finally offered an alternative for Galaxy owners. The Korean version is called Quick Share and was introduced as discreetly as possible. At the presentation, they did not say about it, but the mention can be found on the official website in description cameras Galaxy S20.
Like AirDrop, Quick Share shows you a list of nearby users and lets you share files and links with them. Interestingly, this system is capable of sharing files with 5 devices simultaneously - while AirDrop only works with one device at a time. According to report XDA Developers, in the settings you can choose from whom to receive files: from any users, or only from contacts.
So far, the feature is exclusive to the Galaxy S20 line, but should be rolling out to older smartphones and tablets in the coming months. There are no more specific dates and a list of compatible devices yet.
