January is drawing to a close, and many publications continue to sum up the results of the past year. The specialists from iFixit published a new video, in which they talked about the best and worst devices in terms of maintainability, which they had to disassemble in 2019.
In total, 6 devices were mentioned, each of which received an assessment - where 10 means the maximum ease of repair, and 0 - that replacing the device is easier than trying to fix it. A 10/10 rating was given to the Fairphone 3 smartphone. As in the previous generation, the manufacturer has done everything so that the device can be repaired right on the go: even the battery is removable, and the cover can be easily snapped off, like in old "dialers".
In second place was Mac Pro (2019): Unlike previous Apple computers, this model is truly modular and offers hassle-free repair and upgrade. Closes the top three All Digital version Xbox One S consoles: No screws or glue are used to secure the lid, allowing for quick opening (although some force is required).
The outsiders were also named. Headphones got the worst score of 0 out of 10 AirPods Pro - they cannot be opened and repaired without damaging the device. In the event of a breakdown, it is easier to immediately buy new ones.
Here's what both tops look like:

- Fairphone 3 - 10/10;
- Mac Pro (2019) - 9/10;
- Xbox One S (All Digital Edition) - 8/10;
