Withings (in 2016-2018 was a division of Nokia) presented its new smartwatch called ScanWatch. This is an ordinary-looking analog clock with a built-in ECG scanner that is able to detect arrhythmias. In addition, the watch monitors the level of oxygen in the blood and can diagnose signs of sleep apnea.

Notifications can be viewed on a small screen that also shows steps taken, heart rate and calories burned. The wheel on the side is responsible for switching between the displayed parameters. It also allows you to start the ECG scanner. Scan results are displayed both on the mini-screen and in the smartphone app.

The watch constantly tracks your heart rate in the background. If the device detects a change in rhythm, it will offer to conduct an ECG. When you sleep, another sensor measures the oxygen level in your blood, and in the morning you will receive a report on the quality of sleep and its duration.

Even with both sensors, the battery life reaches 30 days: say goodbye to daily charging. The watch is available in two sizes (38 and 42 mm) and is covered with a sapphire crystal to protect it from scratches.
The novelty was estimated at 249 dollars (approximately 15,400 rubles), which is still half the price Apple Watch Series 5 (32,990 rubles in the minimum configuration). The device will go on sale later this year.
