The successor to the iPhone SE, which is expected to be announced in the spring, will be called the iPhone 9. About it reports Japanese edition of Macotakara, which cites its own sources familiar with Apple's plans.

Some of the characteristics of the smartphone have also been confirmed. In particular, the report says about equipping the device with an A13 chip, 3 GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch display, a Touch ID fingerprint scanner and a Wi-Fi 802.11ax module with support for 2 × 2 MIMO.

Earlier already reportedthat outwardly the new iPhone SE will be similar to the iPhone 8. In fact, the novelty will replace it, offering customers a modern filling in a classic and recognizable design. In this case, the name iPhone 9 looks quite logical.
