Pickled tomatoes with onions

This recipe is very simple and pretty quick. Pickled tomatoes with onions, lavrushka and black pepper will be delicious and aromatic.

Ingredients
- Onion 2 pieces
- Tomatoes 1 500 - 1 700 g
- Bay leaf 2 pieces
- Black peppercorns 10-15 pieces
- Water about 1¹⁄₂ l
- Sugar 4 tbsp. spoons
- Salt 1¹⁄₂ tbsp. spoons
- Vinegar 9% 4 tbsp. spoons
Cooking method
Rinse the soda can thoroughly and dry well in advance.
Cut the onion into rings that are not too thin.
Use a toothpick to make several punctures on the base of the tomatoes.
Put lavrushka and pepper in a jar.

Place tomatoes and onions there, alternating them. Do not tamp the vegetables too hard or they may wrinkle.
For pickling, it is better to take small tomatoes.
Pour boiling water over the jar completely, cover and leave for 15 minutes.

Then drain the liquid into a saucepan. Cover the can again for a while.
To make it easier to drain the water, put a special lid with holes on the jar.

Put the pot on fire. Add sugar and salt, stir and bring to a boil.
The spices should completely dissolve.
Pour vinegar into the jar, then add hot liquid.
Roll up the jar, turn it over and wrap it with something warm. After complete cooling, store in a cool, dark place.
