Granola with vanilla and cardamom

Homemade granola is a great snack or dessert. It is not prepared very quickly, but it can be stored for more than a week.

Ingredients
- Oatmeal (rolled oats) 3 cups
- Nuts and seeds 2½ cups
- Vanilla ¾ tsp spoons
- Cinnamon ¼ tsp spoons
- Cardamom ½ tsp spoons
- Olive oil ½ cup
- Honey or syrup ½ cup + 1 tbsp. the spoon
- Salt 1½ tsp spoons
- Dried fruits 1 cup
Cooking method
Preheat oven to 190 degrees.

If using raw seeds and nuts, combine them in a bowl with oatmeal.
You will need roasted nuts and seeds at the end of cooking.

Add the spices to the oatmeal and mix well. Then add vegetable oil and honey.
You can replace honey with syrup.
Stir and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Smooth and place in the oven for about 40 minutes.
Stir every 15 minutes and take care not to burn the granola.
While it is baking, cut the dried fruit into small pieces.
Remove the finished granola from the oven and add dried fruits to it, as well as roasted nuts and seeds, if using them.
Mix everything well again, cool, and you can taste.
The dish is stored in closed containers for 7-10 days. To extend the shelf life, refrigerate them.
