First, the wings are fried in sugar caramel and get an amazing crust. They are then stewed in beer with soy sauce and become very aromatic.
Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Pour vegetable oil into it and add sugar there.
Melt the sugar until it is a very runny caramel. Stir constantly.
Place the chicken wings in the skillet.
Stir the wings until they are all caramelized. They should turn golden brown.
Fry the chicken for 3-5 minutes. Then add the finely chopped garlic.
Cover and continue cooking over low heat, turning the wings occasionally.
After 20-30 minutes, fill them with beer. Stir and simmer for another 10-15 minutes without covering the pan.
Add the soy sauce, stir and wait until the beer is almost completely boiled away.
