Soup with chicken and mushrooms is quite simple to prepare. It turns out to be hearty and aromatic. Serve hot with your favorite chopped herbs.
Pour water into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Place chicken in water, add salt and cook for about 30 minutes. Take out the bird.
Chop cabbage and mushrooms and dip in broth. Add diced peppers if desired.
Chop the onion finely. Fry in a skillet until golden brown and send to the pan.
Add black pepper, salt and tomato paste. Toss in basil and bay leaf if desired.
Cook until tender, 25 minutes.
Cut the chicken into chunks and place in the prepared soup.
