Delicious polenta with pumpkin and spices is made very quickly and easily. You can even prepare this Italian dish for breakfast.
Pour milk and water into a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Stir in cornmeal and stir until smooth. Remove the pan from heat.
Add pumpkin puree, cinnamon, ginger. Vanilla extract and sugar - optional. Stir the porridge thoroughly.
When serving, you can sweeten the polenta with honey or maple syrup, garnish with apple slices, chopped nuts or dried fruits.
