Tomato soup is prepared quite simply and quickly. Meatballs and rice make it hearty, while fresh tomatoes, onions and garlic make it very flavorful.
Mix the minced meat with bread crumbs and salt.
Form the minced meat into walnut-sized meatballs.
Remove the peel from the tomatoes and chop them in a blender or grate. Chop the onion finely.
Boil water in a saucepan and add rice.
When the liquid comes to the boil again, add the meatballs and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Add tomatoes, onions, salt and pepper there.
Cook for about 20 minutes until the rice is done. Finally, add the garlic pressed through a press.
Let the soup sit for 20 minutes, covered and serve with herbs.
