Classic beef stroganoff

Beef stroganoff is a traditional Russian dish. According to the classic recipe, pieces of beef are first fried and then stewed in sour cream-tomato sauce.

Ingredients
- Beef 600 g
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Butter 2 tbsp spoons
- Flour 1 tsp the spoon
- Sour cream 100 g
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp spoons
- Onion 2 pieces
Cooking method
Wash the meat, dry it with napkins and cut into pieces about 2 cm thick.
Beat the meat to a thickness of 7-10 mm.
Cut the broken pieces across the fibers into strips 3-4 cm long.
Sprinkle the beef with salt and pepper.
Place ¹⁄₂ tablespoon butter and flour in a skillet. Place over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly.
When the flour turns light brown, add sour cream and heat for another 1 minute.
Then add tomato paste, stir and remove from heat.

In a skillet or skillet with high sides, heat some more oil and fry the strips of meat in it.
Cook the meat in small portions to prevent juicing.
In another skillet, melt the remaining butter and sauté the thinly sliced onion until golden brown.
Combine sautéed meat with onions and sauce.
Heat the dish well without boiling.
