Not all TV shows do every season equally. Sometimes they sway only after a couple of dozen episodes, when the boring exposition ends, and sometimes, on the contrary, the beginning turns out to be much better than the continuation. Gizmodo Edition published a list of 10 TV shows in which the first season was the best. Here it is (the order is arbitrary, this is not a rating):
- "Lost"
- "Once upon a time, in a Fairytail"
- «World of the wild west»
- "Real blood"
- "Heroes"
- "Daredevil"
- «Twin Peaks»
- "Dark child"
- «The Handmaid's Tale»
- "The walking Dead"
When choosing TV series, the authors were guided by several principles. So, only TV shows lasting three seasons or more were taken into account, while the first one must necessarily be well received by the public (if a bad show got worse over time, this was not considered). In addition, mostly completed series are here, but there are a couple of still coming out - yes, of course, they can still get better, but now it's hard to believe in it.
Do you agree with this list? Maybe you yourself would like to add something to it - or, on the contrary, justify one of the mentioned shows? Let us know in the comments!
