IN interview Deadline Quentin Tarantino has confirmed that he will not be directing the new Star Trek film. Instead, he will focus on Bounty Law, which is based on a fictional show from "Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood".
The series should consist of five episodes of half an hour, each of which will be directed by Quentin Tarantino himself. The entire production will take about a year and a half.
The director also noted that this series is not about Rick Dalton, who plays Jake Cahill. it Western film about Jake Cahill, inspired by the classics of the genre: Wanted Dead or Alive, The Shooter, Wells Fargo Tales. Who will play Jake Cahill is not specified yet.
As for the Star Trek franchise, Tarantino said he was ready to help the new director by sharing his ideas and notes.
