The premiere of a film based on the The Witcher universe from Polish enthusiasts Alzur’s Legacy took place on YouTube. It took 4 years to create the 90-minute painting. At the same time, the project is completely non-commercial: the money for its creation was collected through Indiegogo.
The film takes place 30 years after the final events of Sapkowski's original story. The main characters are Lambert, Triss, Dandelion and his bastard son Julian.
The comments are overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with many saying this is exactly the adaptation they wanted from Netflix. Especially the audience liked Lambert. Before watching, do not forget to turn on Russian subtitles: the film is completely in Polish, but the creators have released subtitles in several languages to make the premiere truly world-wide.
Updated: A team of NikiStudio enthusiasts has prepared a polyphonic voice acting in Russian - judging by the comments, fans of the series are delighted.
