How much to cook quail eggs
Cooking time depends on how you cook the eggs and what result you want:
- on the stove in a bag - 1 minute, and then leave for a couple of minutes in boiling water;
- soft-boiled on the stove - 2 minutes;
- on the stove hard boiled - 4-5 minutes, in the microwave hard boiled - 3 minutes.

How to cook quail eggs on the stove
Remove eggs from refrigerator before boiling to warm to room temperature.
Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cool water so that they are completely covered and the liquid level is a couple of centimeters higher. Add about half a teaspoon of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce it and continue cooking.
After boiling, transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water and let sit for 5 minutes.
How to cook quail eggs in the microwave
You can cook hard boiled quail eggs in the microwave. To do this, place them in a suitable container and fill them with cold water to cover completely.
Cook at 500 watts. Then transfer to cold water.
How to peel quail eggs
There are several ways to accomplish this task. The easiest is to roll the eggs on the table or wrinkle them in your hands. After cracks appear on the shell, it will be easy to remove it.
Another way is to cover the container with the eggs with a lid and shake. After the shell is cracked, fill the eggs with water at room temperature, leave for a couple of minutes and start cleaning.
