THR's 10 best films of the decade

There is no Joker, Avengers or Irish in the top, but there is one Russian film.

Published by The Hollywood Reporter published a list of the ten best films of the past decade. Compiled by American film critic Todd McCarthy. He noted that the selection includes different paintings: some feel like works of a bygone era, while others will be relevant for a very long time.

1st place - "Carlos", 2010

This mini-series, consisting of three episodes, tells the story of the life of the revolutionary internationalist Ilyich Ramirez Sanchez. According to McCarthy, "Carlos" is the same symbol of international terrorism as "The Godfather" - the symbol of the American mafia.

2nd place - "Social Network", 2010

A much more famous film that tells the story of the creation of one of the most popular social networks - Facebook. Her resounding success forever changed the lives of her fellow students at Harvard University, who became multimillionaires in a couple of years.

3rd place - "Inside Lewin Davis", 2013

A dramatic story about a talented singer and guitarist Lewin Davis from Queens. Without a home or money, he wanders through life in search of himself. All he has is music and a cat.

Also in the top ten were: the South Korean film "The Maid", the Russian "Leviathan", "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood" Tarantino and Mad Max: Fury Road.
