If you accidentally washed your paper money with your clothes, or if it gets soaked in the rain, it's easy to dry. The easiest option is to leave the bills on a warm battery. However, if there are a lot of banknotes or the batteries are simply cold, there is another reliable method.
Spread out the bills and place them on paper towels to absorb excess moisture. Put another towel on top and leave the money in a room with fresh circulating air. If there are no towels, you can get by with napkins.
If you don't want to leave the bills like this on the table, you can place them between two white blank sheets of paper and insert them into a heavy book. So they not only get rid of the remaining moisture, but also straighten out under pressure.
It is not recommended to use a hair dryer or iron for drying as high temperatures can discolor and damage the ink.

You can only use a hair straightener in the minimum power mode - it can straighten already dry banknotes, but you need to be extremely careful not to tear them.
