What do you do in your work?

My name is Alex Nalogin, now I am 36 years old. I am the CEO founded by me in 2008, LLC "Armor". We are engaged in manufacturing of prosthetic and orthopedic products for the rehabilitation of people with spinal cord injuries.

Production is located in Moscow, and all manufactured goods are paid for by the state, for our patients with a disability, they are free.

How does your workplace?

The last three years, run by remote control. Internet, phone, mail. Obtained. In Moscow come rarely, 1-2 times a year as needed.

This kit allows you to work and not have to worry that some technical problem can not be performed because of the "iron".

Two hard drives I use for backups (Macbook weekly, and Asus once every six months, as I use only Asus communications with the VTB24 bank (the bank only supports IE8, 32bit version) and for 3D programs modeling). A third drive for movies, software, source. In principle, it is superfluous, but to throw a pity.

There are two phone: IPhone 5, 16gb and Nokia E63. IPhone 5 is actually complements the Macbook Pro. Mail zadachnik, calls - all you need to work outside the home. Nokia E63 has been used for about 5 years. Now it is set Simca Moscow from MTS.

Leonics - uninterruptible power supply batteries 30 minutes of battery life. In the house on a regular basis there are failures in the power supply, and this piece of iron solve the problem.

What software use?

Operating systems on both computers use legal and preset, and make updates as they become available.

Macbook Pro Retina - a workhorse, and plans to change it in the next few years, I have not.

Asus X42J - I upgrade, increased RAM and up to 6Gb replaced HDD to SSD 256Gb, after which the rate increased significantly. If I was a fan of Windows, this would be the optimal configuration for the job.

In working with the Macbook Pro using the following software:

• Word and Excel - to work with documents;
• Pages - for printing, business cards, letterheads, brochures;
• Safari - web browser and email to Google through the browser + sync with IPhone;
• iMovie - a great tool for working with video;
• Photoshop CS6 & Lightroom 5 - to work with photos, graphics;
• Coda 2 - to work with the site;
• Wunderlist - book of problems, it is very easy to plan short-term affairs;
• uTorrent & MPlayerX - movies, TV shows, everything like everyone else;
• Skype - is rarely used, Twitter does not use, do not understand this format.

From social networks - only Facebook, has a registration for Odnoklassniki and VKontakte, but here as well, as with Twitter, do not understand the format inconvenient.

This modest list, in fact, have all the software that I use the past year and a half. It is enough for the realization of work tasks.

The Asus X42J use IE8 and Solidworks, Word and Excel - as needed.

Is there a place in your paper work?

Paper-based, I do not use at all. Book, study, write - all electronically. The only exception is for notebooks occupation of the Thai language. My teacher does not accept electronic media, and, as usual student, have to adapt. It looks like this is very unusual, but for me it is not just the icons, sticks and squiggles, and quite readable text, but to understand the meaning of reading is still far. :)

Is there a dream configuration?

The above-described hardware and software today is exactly what I need to work and life. For me, a very important principle of sufficiency.
