What do you do in your work?

Prior to that involved in the family business and tried to create their own. I had a few online stores, but did not have enough experience. Therefore, in 2006 I decided to get into any company. We took in the "Yandex".

I graduated from the Physics Department of Moscow State University. For school life several times changed his opinion of who to be - a mathematician, physicist and programmer. I chose the latter.

I am convinced that higher education is necessary. And it is not formulaic, and fundamental, not instructional processes and their essence. We often teach templates: in such a situation, so do something. If the situation is not beaten out beyond these clichés, people successful. But in life we ​​have to deal with different projects, sometimes to solve non-standard problems. And here we need knowledge, does not answer the question, "What should I do?" And the question "How?" And "Why?".

I'm pretty skeptical about the reception of the second, third and subsequent degrees. Very rarely do it for the sake of knowledge is not an end in itself. In my opinion, the best additional education - it is an experience. It must be able to adopt and interpret correctly.

What are your strengths and weaknesses?

There is one character trait that is both strong and weak. This laziness.

Weak because I save things for later. Strong, because I try to find simple solutions to complex problems. All the time thinking how to make faster and easier, or do not do, but to achieve results.

How does your workplace?

In "Yandex" adhere to the open space concept. This is an important part of corporate culture. If the head office is fenced by walls, there is a certain barrier between him and the staff. It inhibits the development of the business and allows you to quickly make decisions.

Therefore, my desk is located in the center of a large room. On it - MacBook and two monitors. MacBook, because to work with e-mail and the Internet better than Mac OS has not yet come up with anything. External monitors, because a lot of work in Excel. Also on the table a lot of memorabilia. For example, a stuffed female breasts. I once gave her for her birthday. Brought for fun at work, and remained.

One of my managers in the "Yandex" has taught me great wisdom (by the way, I was very lucky with the chiefs, they taught me a lot). What's your daily routine?

I get up between six and nine in the morning, I go to usually after midnight. I come to work at eight or nine in the morning, leaving at 20: 30-21: 00.

The first hobby - photography. I take photos of people and nature. I even have a small helicopter drone with which I take aeropanoramy and various videos.

My dream is to be able to one day in the life of a lot of traveling.

The second hobby - hours. A year ago we opened another company to produce exclusive watches. To do this, we find vintage antique watches of famous brands ( «Zenit», Moser, Omega and others) restoring their mechanisms, while using 99% of spare parts, we create an individual housing. What place sport occupies in your life?

Skiing and twice a week engaged in table tennis. The first are always connected with dialogue and interesting pastime, the second teaches us to think and helps to distract. And energy-pong pretty expensive.

I do not understand selfish sports, like running, and power, where the main goal - to demonstrate the physical data. To me, these classes do not make sense, they have no element of the game, they do not improve life.
