Ruslan Tugushev
Entrepreneur, co-founder kraudfandingovoy Boomstarter platform. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Russian University of Cooperation. At first he worked in the profession, then went into advertising. He was a sales manager, director of marketing. In 2006 he opened his first business. Six years after the start of business activities I had the idea of creating Boomstarter.
What do you do in your work?
I am a co-founder and CEO of Russia's largest kraudfandingovoy platform Boomstarter.
The idea of its creation arose from his own needs: there were ideas, but lacked the funds to implement them. I and my friend and partner, Eugene Gavrilin walked the funds for private investors, business angels, and then thought, it would be nice to put their ideas on the Internet, and if people like it, they will be able to invest money. So in 2012 we opened with Eugene kraudfandingovuyu own platform.
Crowdfunding means collective funding when the correct amount is going through a large number of people interested in the idea. Boomstarter - a world where new emotions and impressions, people find each other and work together to create something new. For four years, it sold more than a thousand projects, attracted 250 million rubles.
What is your occupation?
I'm a lawyer. I choose their future profession inspired by the view of the lawyers and attorneys films. Once graduated, he went to work in the specialty. But he worked only six months and realized that everything is quite different, is not it fantastic, as shown in the movie. Therefore, I threw all this subject: first went into advertising, and then opened his own business.
During student holidays went to the camp, first worked as a counselor, then as a senior counselor and then director. For me it was a way to not only make money, but to interact with new people. There has been a pedagogical team: 30 people from different regions.
Spending on higher education of five years, of course, necessary. It is still further knowledge and socialization: a gradual transition from kindergarten to real life.
Now I am mastering the Startup Leadership Program (SLP). This is an international training program for managers and senior executives. In it the people who are the organizers of the process, more and learn themselves. Training takes place twice a month: first, there is a performance of an invited expert, and then the story of the student in terms of their skills. Someone, for example, have to say about working with clients, team management, leadership. Others - about finances and so on. Each shares his experiences, so do not get dry theory, and practical knowledge.
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Laziness applies to both the strong and the weak sides. On the one hand, I want to get rid of it, and on the other - it allows you to move. After all laziness It may be called differently - delegation.
When constantly delegiruesh, your team grows, and the business is growing. In this case, you need to trust the person as much as possible, not to interfere with him to understand the issue.
But, in spite of the delegation, always try to place the responsibility for the result itself. That is, he can not do, but always think about it, keep in sight, and soon it is possible to help a person who is engaged in this task. I do not know what this party, but I do helps.
There I still have this trait - to proceed in any situation of possible interpretations, but not impossible. Regardless of the complexity of the problem need to think about the options to solve it, and then it will definitely come. Maybe not immediately, a day or two a week, but it will come.
You are a thousand times say "no", but once you hear "yes," and this is exactly what you need.
I also characterized by a certain closeness. In my opinion, being open to the outside world is very useful to achieve their goals. But sometimes I like something on the machine is closed. I try to deal with it.
How does your workplace?
do not clutter up the desktop, I do not need much. On the table - MacBook. He's my fifth. He is easy, convenient, fast, long keeps charging, satisfies the maximum number of requirements. I follow the novelties, when releasing a new model immediately buy.
Not so long ago we moved into a new office and changed the concept of design. We used to have brick walls, they are now made of wood. The room is small, and to remove the boundaries between the rooms, we have set a panoramic glass: it brings together employees.
I wanted to get around was green, but did not want to, like all the flowers in pots. And when I was in my village, I saw quite a Birch log. Made his father a trial version of the pot of birch and grass planted there. It turned out beautifully, decided to place these around the office.
In an e-mail client, a calendar and a scheduler use microsoft Outlook. In my opinion, it is the most convenient email client that has ever been created. I work a lot with the mail, I process 100-120 emails per day, and Outlook helps. It works on all platforms, I even installed on the iPhone. There Remote synchronization, the ability to work without the Internet.
Text editors do not use. I write only in Outlook. But installed Word, to open and read the document sent.
Web services are also almost never use: just Outlook. Browser - Chrome and sometimes Safari. But I prefer to search for "Yandex", not Google.
Messengers: Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack. Slack - only within the team, WhatsApp - only if a person has no Telegram. Therefore, the main messenger - Telegram: it is faster and more comfortable rest.
Is there a place in your paper work?
I have a notebook-weekly, but I have it in 2015 and even more half is not used. Usually, I use it during the conversation: so as not to interrupt the interlocutor, write down the questions that I would like to ask, when he finished his speech.
Also, paper is, if we talk about agreements that bring on the signature and any other official things. Articles and emails will not be printed.
What is in your bag?
I have a backpack.
In it lies the adapter from the Mac to various projectors (HDMI, USB), painkillers, selfie-stick charger for the MacBook, the laptop itself, the passport (domestic and two foreign), and a purse all sorts of stuff.
If the food in the journey, take a couple of T-shirts, shorts.
How do you organize your time?
I use Outlook for the compilation of short-term and medium-term plans. For long-term paper hang on the mirror with the words that I would like to see in six months, year, two, three. Everything else - in Outlook: to me this is more than enough.
What's your daily routine?
I'm a night owl, to be exact - COBOL-bird: I go early and get up late. I try to go to bed the same day, that is, until midnight. I wake up at eight or nine in the morning. Instead of an alarm clock wakes me now daughter.
Every morning, looks about the same. It begins with 30-40 minutes of playing with her daughter. Now I teach her to get up, and so we bite it, pinching, fly. :)
The most productive from about 11:00 to 17:00.
I try to do a late breakfast and an early dinner. Lunch I actually flies, because at that time I was the most active, and almost distracted. Sometimes there is a late dinner, but it is only vegetables or fruits.
In the evening when I come home, change clothes completely, I put on my slippers and robe: it quickly switch from work to the home mode. If you come, I do not change clothes and a laptop falls into the hands, can another two or three hours to sit down and work. And so, I changed - and everything you would like in a home format.
The day ends with a cup of tea with honey: soothing, easier to fall asleep.
How to pass the time in traffic jams?
With the help of Microsoft Outlook. If you open the mail and there are no letters, I begin to write itself.
When I go to work, in the car listening to music. I have multiple playlists for any mood. For example, there is a motivational playlist, I turn it on when in the morning in a bad mood.
What's your hobby?
Lot TravelingAbout ten trips per year. And if we consider domestic travel, then even more. When traveling I like to photograph to Instagram. For me, it is the combination of business with pleasure: you travel for work, and you can visit new and unusual places.
What place sport occupies in your life?
Rock climbing: this exercise, and the struggle with fears. At times when scary emerge those machines which prevent achieving the objectives and life.
I do twice a week with a personal trainer: he points to the confusion. Later, when I look at myself, I analyze it, what mistakes are made on the wall, it often turns out that the same things in reality.
The climbing (and not only) I am inspired by successful examples. When I give some new track, I almost never go through it the first time. And I go somewhere in the middle of the tear down. But then I look at the next person who comes along the road and passes it and think: "He did so, and I will." The second time, almost always pass everything to the end.

books
Books that somehow influenced my outlook certainly is, but we must understand that I have read them in a particular state, and at a certain time. Not the fact that the book I read seven or eight years ago, would have given me something today. For example, when I read "perfumer"Patrick Suskind, it was associated with certain events in my life. It tells about the perfectionism with which people approach their work, and I was greatly impressed. I realized that it could be applied in their work.
But the book "Atlas Shrugged"Ayn Rand, I do not understand. To me she gave no such thing. Perhaps not read at that time.
But really influenced me the book "Steve Jobs"Walter Isaacson. Like not even the story itself and the structure. Typically, the biography written linearly, and here, for example, describes the events of twenty years ago, and immediately tells us that eventually came out of it.
Still there is an interesting book "stillness speaks"(Series The Power of Now). I advised her to read my partner Dennis. The book provides a good technique that helps a little to stop the running thoughts, relax and see what is happening around, in addition to work.
I'm happy when everything is in balance. When enough time for family, work, personal health and hobbies. Bias in some of the parties to destabilize.
From business books I liked the book "Business in Aramaic. 67 golden rules». A small but interesting book, which forced a smile. There probably are not affected by the business rules, and the rules of morality in doing business. Not the fact that everyone will enjoy, but deserves attention.
Movies and Series
To view the use of online cinema Amediateka. From the beloved: "Silicon Valley", "Game of Thrones," "Breaking Bad," "Lost", "House", "House of Cards."
Two or three times a month I go to the movies. I like the movies, where the creation of new worlds: reality and so totally around. Favorite paintings: "Home", "The Matrix", "Interstellar".
On YouTube channel is now looking "life Bee».
Previously, it consumes much more content. Now I have a daughter, she - it's all my blogs and websites.
What is your life motto?
More than ten years ago, I chose a motto: "Know the path and go through it - are two different things." I lived with this slogan a few years. But after some time realized that the way to know and pass it - it's actually the same thing. So now I am an adherent of a different motto.
If you know the way to the end doydosh.
Do not forget about their long-term prospects, they need to predict. When we glance at the 20, 30, 40, 50 years from now, you know what to do here and now.
