Is it possible to make some life lessons, climbing to the top of the Himalayas? It turns out, yes. American blogger Pete P passed alone path from the foot to the peak of the Himalayas.
Eight hours a day, seven days in a row, overcoming physical and mental limits, he climbed to the top. And that's what he saw.
forward movement - the only logical way
The path to the top of the mountain - it is not climbing up a permanent ascent and descents. When you are halfway between the previous and the next camp, you know that the back has not come back, no matter how much you may be tired, as if it wanted to. In order to grow as a person, you need to keep moving forward, no matter what speed.
Go back or stand still unacceptable. This means that you have wasted my life. Climbing the mountain, you can not just stop. Of course, if you do not want to attract wild animals or freeze at night. Even moving very slowly, you still approach your goal. Just as in life.
Optimism - the key to success
Mountain route consists of a plurality of parking and zigzags between the mountains. I cheated on my brain, proving to himself that he will stop at the next parking lot, although it was often not the case. But I helped the idea that the break is already there and left to go quite a bit. If you prove to yourself that something pleasant or good already there, you can easily achieve their goals.
No matter how fast you are moving, you still get to the end
Climbing the mountain, no matter how fast you're going. Sooner or later, everyone still reaches the top. I was very slow, however, the mountain still I obeyed. Trying to listen to your body, I take breaks, as soon realized that I can no longer go up. The conquest of the mountain, like life, it's a marathon, not a sprint. If you know you are moving toward the goal, for you it does not matter how fast you do it.
Worst day yet to come
On the first day of my trip went mountain heavy rain, and to continue to move, I had to walk through mud and water flows under the piercing wind. I thought that the worst of the day nothing will. On the third day I had to climb a thousand steps to the top of the pass only to then again come down to go across the bridge. On the fourth day I climbed to an altitude of 3000 meters and I could not breathe because of lack of oxygen. The path that was supposed to take two hours, I went for four.
Life is very similar to the same ascent. Day that you thought the worst, is only a warm-up. The solution is only one: do not wait for a good or a bad day, and deal with unexpected adversity or success as they become available. It is not necessary to hammer head tomorrow's challenges.
Quick success does not exist
Most tourists, climbing to the top, from the first day are starting to look out for the gorgeous views from the mountains on the horizon. However, in order to achieve them, we have to wade through the impenetrable forest first few days. Only after passing the forest for 32 hours, you start to see the gorgeous mountains on the horizon.
Putting a goal in life, do not look at what you can achieve it instantly. We'll have to wait and act, and if you did everything correctly, you will succeed.
To achieve something outstanding uneasy
Many friends have asked me why I decided to go to the Himalayas. Really, why? After photos from every point of the mountain can be viewed in Google Maps directly. For them, the only pleasure was in the end of the road for me is the way he was something incredible. Without communication with other climbers on the road, without the countless accidents without severe climbs this journey would not have meant to me.
So it is in life: money received from parents, are valued much less than that earned by their own labor. The harder you try, the more important and more valuable will be the reward.
You need people you can trust
I had been traveling alone, and in spite of this, often communicate with travelers and strikes up a relationship with them. The ascent to the mountain teaches you to trust the people around them, because they determine your life. The best thing you can give to others - is the ability to trust you.
Journey to the summit of the Himalayas has changed my life. I learned many things that seem trivial to others. For example, how vulnerable we are. Also, I realized that many of the problems are not worth the emotions we attach to them. And the most important award for me was the achievement of the goal - the top of the mountain.
