fingerprint scanner, which is equipped with all MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, is useful not only to unlock the computer, or purchase confirmations. With it, you can also replace the administrator password when performing sudo-command.
To enable Touch ID for use in "Terminal", do the following:
/private/etc/pam.d/sudo
and press enter.auth sufficient pam_tid.so
commented out after the first row.That's all. Now when performing sudo-command in the "Terminal" can use Touch ID, and not bother with the password.
