In macOS add the Dock folder to recently used files and applications

The Dock - a very handy thing, allows you to always keep on hand the necessary application. However, it can be made even more convenient by adding a stack of recently used objects.
Default macOS remembers the last program, documents, and servers that you have used. They can be viewed as a list in Apple → «Recently Used objects" menu.
For added convenience, it is better to put on the panel Dock. Standard means it can not be done, but there is a special team that will help. Here she is:
defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-others -array-add '{ "tile-data" = { "list-type" = 1; }; "Tile-type" = "recents-tile";} '&& \ killall Dock
After its entry in the "Terminal" on the Dock will appear next to new stack with a basket containing the very last used objects.
You can customize the appearance of the stack by one of the standard options. In contrast to the drop-down menu, the Dock at the same time, you can view only one type of objects. It is possible to add two or three stack by configuring the mapping programs, documents and favorites in each of them.
You can also customize the number of recent projects. Default macOS stores on the 10 sites, but this number is easy to increase or decrease. This is done in the system settings, in the "General" section. It is better not to get involved and leave the stack 10-15 objects, otherwise its usefulness will disappear.
