Tiff - a visual comparison of different fonts

The problem of choosing the right font often confronts the specialists of different areas, including webmasters, designers, graphics, printers, and so on. The apparent at first glance almost identical, many fonts, however, have a significant difference, which can obviously change the final look of your website, brochure or presentation. We want to introduce you to a simple service that allows you to clearly see the difference between the fonts.
Tiff - is a special web-based application that is designed to display differences visually between letters. Moreover, the comparison is not just a "by eye", and with the help of a semi-transparent overlay on each other. So you can see literally pixel by pixel, than writing letters of a single font is different.
When you open the page, you will see that in one of the fields already set the font name. Just click Hide a number and enter a name that you are interested. Do the same in the field font B. After that, the cells just below appear the outlines of letters and their colors (blue and red) corresponds to the button next to the name of the font.
By default, the letters are compared to the blend mode to each other. However, you can switch to the comparison mode side by side, using the buttons below. There is also the opportunity to introduce their characters to compare instead of default Rghe.
Currently Tiff It works with the online font Google Web Fonts and any system fonts. In Google Chrome, the browser service is functioning flawlessly, while when tested in Firefox there is a slide letters in the preview window.
