Web Services / / December 24, 2019
Today our recipe is very simple, but extremely useful. With it, you will be able to receive news, updates, websites, information on discounts, and everything that can be transmitted via RSS technology directly to your inbox.
First of all, I want to very briefly explain why all this is necessary. After all, there are dozens of different services, programs for reading RSS-feeds, so why not use them, why redirect the flow in the mail?
The greatest advantage of e-mail client, such as Gmail, is the presence of the flexible filtering system (which in all "normalĀ» RSS-client is absent or is offered for the money). You can adjust the dates of your filters that will catch only the necessary messages and make them actions you specified.
For example, if you are preparing to write an article about the exhibition CES 2014, the system itself will select keywords only relevant news and put them in a separate folder. If you are bitter yablokofob, the filtration system will save you from suffering and send all letters about the appropriate fruit in the basket automatically. Such a system is on the order speeds up the work with a lot of information.
For this recipe we will need channel Feed. Please note that you can sign up as new members, and only those that meet the condition you specify. For example, if the total content of the site you are interested in only one article of the author, it will only receive them.
The second desired channel - Email. This is a special built-in service IFTTT channel for sending and receiving emails. In it we are interested in action Send me an Email. Note that the message subject and text can be customized as you wish using the html-tags.
