We are accustomed to the fact that Apple every year shows the new generation of their gadgets, and we are bogged down with low start to buy them. However, have you ever thought that every year the company does: revolution or evolution of their devices?
Let's answer this question by the example of the company's most popular devices - iPhone. Whether it is the most technologically advanced smartphone on the market?
Not.
The company's strategy - to make devices for ordinary people. Sometimes this means adding innovative technology, but more often than Apple makes gadgets, which give the most simple and pleasant experience of use.
My 61-year-old father used iPhone. This is the first computer, he uses every day. Such as it most. What differentiates Apple from device manufacturers to Android - is the ability to sacrifice.
The company deliberately limits the functionality of the device, making gadgets easier for most people, but unfortunately, less desirable for geeks.
That is, what is not in the iPhone, but there has long been in the devices on Android:
- Memory card support.
- file system openness.
- Application for recording calls.
- Installing applications not from App Store.
- Changing the default application.
The list goes on. However, slowly, but the company still makes steps toward advanced users, adding widgets, extensions, third-party keyboard and more. In general, everything that was in Android for a long time.
But Apple is doing this intentionally to iPhone was still a smartphone to "ordinary" people. The company's ability to say "No", where others say "yes" brought her a resounding success. But is the iPhone the most technologically advanced smartphone? Unfortunately no.
