N.O.V.A stands for Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, from the title it is clear that this is something cosmic and likely to happen to shoot. The name does not deceive, the way it is, N.O.V.A. - a space shooter from Gameloft, with it is very high quality. The game is not monotonous, changing locations, weapons, vehicles, even there is an element of non-linearity of the plot, although it is minimal and not much affects the passage nevertheless pleased that in mobile games start to show almost as much attention as desktop / console.

The game has two main modes: single player and multiplayer - local and via the Internet, all grown-up!

In N.O.V.A. easier to control than in many other shooters for the iPad, and although it is similar to what we have seen in other games from Gameloft, however, is slightly different, in a good way. The only thing that is not very thought out - this switch weapons in combat do not always have time to choose what you want. The control settings you can choose how you will take aim and how to shoot.

I stopped at the default settings, so you can aim without stopping the shooting, which is very useful in active combat.

Compared to the iPhone version of the game to add some chips, is only possible on the iPad big screen. For example, to throw a grenade, you can hold two fingers in the direction of the target. Interaction with the environment goes through the whole game: the doors are opened by turning a few fingers on the screen, the rocket targets are selected manually by the "spear" and knock the lift should be moved.

We now turn to the actual gameplay. Single player begins with a small training, then you suddenly attacked by some obscure from the existence of clearly alien origin, and then, when you're peacefully currently fly to the space station, landing happens accident. On all sides are popping up various aliens with a single purpose - to divide by zero you. They can be small and annoying, like toads, and can meet the big man and such here.

For the destruction of the aliens in the presence of the six types of weapons, from pistols and rifles to alien plasma gun, and besides it is still possible to throw grenades or shoot at once from the set here and there machine guns.

In addition to the game there is also a fun mochilova and other tasks, for example, you need to quickly run through the outside of the ship, dodging meteorites and even so not over oxygen.

For all levels of scattered boxes with all sorts of benefits, but to open them, you have to unravel artless puzzle by sending a laser beam to the desired locations using a limited set of mirrors and separators.

But do not think that you have to run the game through the dark corridors, it is not so, the fresh air, too, will be able to breathe, with it on different planets, and under different weather conditions.

What does the study of the planets will produce not only walking but also in transport, for example, a certain similarity of futuristic military jeep. It is true as an arrow - not the driver.

All in a single game 13 different levels - you have to go over the corpses of a long way from the mother spaceship to the lair of the aliens on their planet.

Now a bit about the multiplayer, because wet soulless monsters are one thing, but to fight with human beings - is quite another!

As I said, in N.O.V.A. There are two multiplayer game modes: local (when playing with a friend in the same room) and internet (battle with players around the world), against each other can play from 2 to 4 people, which is not so much an epic battle wall to wall not expected worth.

As a result, the game N.O.V.A. (Do not forget about the point :)) deserves the good reviews, as she is today one of the few games as close as possible to the computer analogy.
