According to 9to5Mac, in iOS 5 has functionality allowing to add the possibility of auto-correction automatic appending words when typing using the onscreen keyboard, as it is now implemented in Android.
First screenshots of this functionality has published a developer from Australia Sonny Dickson. It is expected that this feature was present in the first beta version of iOS 5, which have access only developers, but now this feature may again become available, but for all users. The images, published by Dixon, an extra line is visible, that displays options for entering a word. Apparently, after the activation of this line replaces the standard tooltips. 5to9Mac also suggested how to enable this function without having to jailbreak the device.
It is worth noting that this functionality is not a new feature in iOS 5, because this auto-fit is already in use in the Japanese Kana keyboard.
As is the case with other hidden functionality that periodically found in iOS, you should not expect him to full operability and stability. In addition, the inclusion of these options may lead to incorrect operation of other components or applications on the system.
