Tethering - quite a handy feature that allows iPhone and iPad with cellular communication module "to distribute" mobile Internet on Wi-Fi. Usually, this function works without any problems, but in iOS 7, it sometimes gives failures. Probably soon will correct this bug, but what if the connection on the Personal Hotspot is not working and you need it now? We offer an effective solution to this problem.
First, turn on the modem mode on the device from which you want to "give" the Internet. On iOS, it's called "Tethering" and hidden in the settings) as you normally would and do.
All other manipulations you need to perform on the device from which you want to connect to a personal access point.
If you are connecting with iOS-devices:
- Connect to distribute the access point as usual
- Click on the icon with (i) information on the access point to which you are connected. Open information about IP, DNS, and other settings of the access point
- In the IP Address tab "static." And in all the fields (IP Address, Subnet Mask, and so on), type 8.8.8.8
Congratulations, you have installed DHCP and manual settings can now enjoy connectivity of Wi-Fi.
If you are connecting to the Mac:
- Connect to the access point to distribute
- Open System Preferences from the Apple menu, go to "Network" section, select the Wi-Fi connection and go to "Advanced"
- Select the TCP / IP tab, scroll down to "Setting the IPv4", open the submenu "the DHCP with manual address"
- Fill in the IP address field, subnet mask, router, and DNS as in iOS (8.8.8.8)
If you are connecting to use Windows:
- Go to Control Panel, select "Center Network and Sharing Center", click "view the connection properties"
- Right-click on the access point to distribute and open its properties, go to the tab "Network", select the "" Internet Protocol Version 4 TCP / IP IPv4 », click" Properties "
- Select "Use the following IP-address, fill in all fields, both in Mac and iOS

That's right, manually configuring DHCP on iOS / Mac and Windows, you can easily solve the problem with the connection to dole out with iOS-device access point. We hope that this guide will help you solve the problem :)
