How do I know what applications for the iPhone and iPad most consume battery
Ios / / December 20, 2019
On iOS, there is a useful feature that shows how the battery power is used. With its help, you can find out which application was the most voracious in the last 7 days or 24 hours.
Access your mobile device "Settings" and select "Battery".
In it you will see the subsection "Using a Battery". By default, it is displayed on the battery as a percentage. If you press the dial in the upper right corner, the information will be presented in more detail.
In some applications, there are two indicators of the use of the battery:
- "On the screen" - a time during which the program was actively used, and was opened on the screen.
- "Background" - the time when the application is used in active mode, but was open when other programs are running. Hence, the charge battery It used (at this time could be an application update, playing music or podcasts, and other background tasks). Some programs can consume at the same time a decent amount of power.
To save battery power, you can turn on the power save mode (see "Battery") or disable the update of certain applications in the background. You can do this in the section "Main» → «Content Updates."
Why this information is needed? Not to be left with a sudden discharge smartphone. Forewarned is forearmed. Using the most energy-intensive applications, you need to be prepared for the fact that charging is required rather quickly.
