Volunteers from VROOSDI help special children to believe in themselves and learn about the world. This article talks about the charity event organized by them, which can take part in each of you.
Thomas Edison - one of the greatest inventors of the twentieth century. He perfected the telegraph and telephone, has developed one of the first versions of incandescent lamps, invented the phonograph. Edison was awarded the highest US award - the Congressional Gold Medal.
Hard to believe, but as a child of this respected throughout the world of human thought underdeveloped. Thomas was a frail, sickly child. I began to speak only in four years. In school, he did not stay long. Teacher openly said that of Edison will not be kind, to teach him anything else is impossible. Nancy Thomas's mother said that her son more brains than all the teachers together, took him out of school and became involved with him at home.
I took my mother. It was so hard, so sincerely believed in me that I felt like I have someone to live for and I did not have to disappoint her.

Especially children, such as orphans or with disabilities, it is necessary to believe in them. It is important to show them that the world around is amazing and they can be what they will. For example, world-renowned scientists.
That is what the guys from the Volgograd regional public organization of assistance to children with disabilities (VROOSDI). Its activists help children more than 20 years. During this time, did a lot of good. One of the latest successful projects - "Swimming for children with disabilitiesยป. Dozens of children to try themselves in this sport and have strengthened their health.
The new project - to instill children with disabilities and children from orphanages interest in science. To do this, volunteers VROOSDI plan to hold workshops on interesting science - chemistry, physics, biology, astronomy. And older children will talk about what the profession is and what to do to become, for example, a scientist or inventor.
We have a volunteer helper - dog therapist. It allows children with disabilities to be liberated.
Scientific instruments (microscopes, test tubes, reagents, etc.) cost money. We also need funds for the organization of activities (transportation, expert advice, rental of premises). Therefore VROOSDI volunteers turned on Boomstarter. Guys looking for like-minded people who can make its own material contribution to their idea. Who knows, maybe, among the children who come to the workshops, will be the new Stephen Hawking and Thomas Edison. We just need to believe in it and give a little push.
