Because of what man does not fair, commits a crime? It is believed that all the matter of physiological abnormalities, childhood trauma, family education and the negative impact of the environment. However, as scientists have found, it is not so ...
Recently, scientists have tried to find out in which countries in children a strong sense of justice. IN experiment attended by several hundred children aged from 4 to 15 years. Guinea regions were the United States, Canada, India, Mexico, Peru, Senegal and Uganda. By itself, the experiment was very simple: between the children shared the candy so that someone got more, and someone - less. But the results were surprising. Of course, virtually all children have experienced, if received less candy, but only the representatives of Canada, the US and Uganda did not agree with the injustice to others. And what is interesting: the subjects be aware that true, and that - no. It turns out that children are affected not only family and friends, but all of their fellow citizens.
As shown by another study behavior between adults and their place of residence, there is also the connection. Experiment a team of researchers from the University of East Anglia (University of East Anglia) was tied to a monetary reward. First, participants are invited to guess what will fall out: heads or tails, and then - to participate in a music quiz, with search for information on the Internet was forbidden. For correct answers relied small amount of solid US currency.
It turned out that dishonesty is peculiar to the inhabitants of all the countries participating in the experiment, and that Brazil, China, Greece, Japan, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey, USA, Argentina, Denmark, Great Britain, India, Portugal, South Africa and South Korea. However, the relationship "dishonesty" of the country and the low level of income of its residents was visible to the naked eye. Britons were the most honest. The Turks, Indians and Chinese showed the highest percentage of frauds.
Of course, we can say that the whole thing in income. But here the American and German psychologists published work in Nature showing that adherence to ethical standards every member of society depends primarily on the level of development of the society. In the experiment with the "coefficient of violations" was attended by 2,568 young people from 20 countries, among which there was a place to Vietnam, China, Morocco, the UK, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Sweden and many others (Russia somehow spared, probably because of the unknown mentality). It turned out that the integrity of a single person is higher in those countries where the level of corruption is low, and the population does not shy away from paying taxes.
It seems this is a great reason to emigrate to more prosperous countries. After all, what could be more important than our children? In a country where they can get a low level of corruption better education and be better than we are. However, we must note that visitors are quite capable to change the reality, even the most prosperous country with an honest and happy people. So it may be better to start to change themselves and the world around you?
