Engineering student at the University of Frenzel Philip Allen in Germany patented protective cover having an unusual design. According to him, the idea came to him after he crashed his new iPhone, fell from his jacket pocket. The development of the invention, took four years, and it is assembled from parts, printed the 3D-printer. The resulting case - a kind of mechanical airbag.
