Thing of the day: Pitaka - modern modular carbon fiber wallet
Devices / / December 19, 2019
Lightweight and durable wallet made of carbon fiber, which is designed to replace bulky and long-obsolete counterparts.
The use of carbon allowed to make Pitaka is very compact and almost weightless, but because of the modular design everyone can put together the perfect kosholek for themselves.
Pitaka consists of six separate blocks made entirely from carbon fiber. They are held together by means located in certain places the magnets, so the whole wallet in assembled form is no longer a stack of credit cards.
Despite its compact size, it can hold up to ten protected the RFID-blocking cards, some cash, coins and keys, SIM cards and other little things. All this can be quick and easy to reach, just by deploying a purse with two fingers.
For those who have this functionality is not enough, the creators Pitaka made it possible to add expansion modules. Among them there are additional compartments for cards with clip module for cash, a box for small items, and a multitool opener and a few tools.
Funds for the launch of the purse in mass production already assembled, but it still can be ordered at Kickstarter $ 69. Delivery promise in the next month.
