Disable HTML5 Autoplay help block autoplay media on any website

Facebook is only preparing enable autoplay video with sound, and we already have an adequate response to it.

Automatic playback of media - this is probably one of the most annoying things on the Internet. Sites abusing this dirty trick, it becomes more and more. Facebook recently even announced that video in the news will be on their own to start immediately with the sound.

If you do not want every time to jump in surprise, and then frantically search for how to stop the video clip, select Disable HTML5 Autoplay. This tiny extension is able to block the launch of audio and video in Opera and Chrome browsers.

After installing the extension, no video on any site not dare willfully disturb your peace. All attempts to circumvent this rule can be found in the pop-up window that appears when you click on the button Disable HTML5 Autoplay on the toolbar. It displays the total number of media objects, and the number of blocked.

If you suddenly want on any website allow autoplay, you can do this in the extension settings. To do this, you must manually set the rules. How to do it, is told here.
