Google has added a basic antivirus software in Chrome for Windows

Google tried to at least partially make life easier for Windows users, and added to Chrome antivirus functionality. Now the browser is able to detect when a particular malicious extension change settings such as default search engine. The program in this case, can automatically restore normal state of Chrome.

The company has processed "Chrome Cleanup Tool", which is downloaded separately and is integrated into the browser. The program has made it much easier to use: it removes dangerous software with one click of a button, and with Google co-operation with the ESET, became effective.

The company warns: "The Chrome cleaning" is not a full Antivirus. It removes only the extensions that violate policy on Unwanted Software. Therefore, if you use the "Defender Windows» or similar software, you do not turn it off.

New in Chrome will be available to all users in the next few days.
