How to disable pop-up notifications from websites in Chrome, Opera and Firefox

A short guide to help disable the notification for which you once subscribed to, and permanently ban sites to show pop-up notifications.
Chrome
1. Open the browser options.
2. At the bottom, click "Show advanced settings."
3. Look for the section "Personal data". In it, press the button "Content settings".
4. pop-up window will appear. Find it in the section "Alerts".
5. Once and for all whether websites offer you display alerts, enable the option "Do not show notifications on the sites."
6. If you have previously given permission to some site, but now want to cancel, then click on the "Manage exceptions." Here you can add or remove any site.
There is even an easier way to get rid of pesky notifications. Go to the site permission you want to change and click on the icon that occupies the leftmost position in the address bar. You will see a lot of individual page setup menu.
Find the option "Alerts" and set the desired value for it.
Opera
