How to get rid of the mobile Dropbox and why do it

I really like the service Dropbox, and I am a long-standing and rewarding user. However, recently I have consistently deleted Dropbox app from all of their mobile devices. Not that it worked poorly, not at all. But there was a solution to a much smaller and more convenient.

The main purpose of Dropbox client on a mobile device - is to provide quick access to your cloud-based file storage. With it, you can view, download to your device or vice versa, upload to the cloud you need the files.

The second useful feature of the program is automatically downloaded to your mobile Dropbox photos. It robs you of the need not just to mess with you connect your smartphone to your computer, but also in general to perform any special steps. You just take a picture, but after a while the pictures are already appearing in the Dropbox folder, and you can easily view them on your computer.

However, all these activities can be easily implemented without the help of a corporate client, using third-party programs. For example, many file managers can be easily connected to your Dropbox account and work with it just like with a standard folder. Here, for example, as is the popular file manager ES File Explorer.

1. Start the ES File Explorer and open the left navigation bar.
2. Go to the "Cloud Storage".
3. On the bottom toolbar, click "New" and then select the service Dropbox.
4. Enter your login details.
5. Confirm the connection of ES File Explorer to your cloud storage.

Now you can do all file operations with their data held in Dropbox, just as with conventional local files and directories. Including delete, rename, move, and so on.

At least you can quickly and easily set up automatic downloads of your photos. It is realized by a simple recipe that makes an application to monitor a specific folder on your device and, if found in it new pictures, send them to Dropbox.

Of course, all the above movements are only meaningful if you are using the program ES File Explorer as a file manager and IFTTT to automate processes on your mobile gadget. It is absolutely no need for Dropbox app, and it is safe to remove, to take up no space and system resources.
