GetContact application shows how you recorded in the phone book with friends and relatives

This app is intended as a spam blocker and unwanted calls, but has gained popularity due to another function.

Opening GetContact, you can see how your number is recorded in other people. Provided that they too are GetContact. Most interesting is that in this way you can check not only themselves, but also their friends and relatives. To do this, simply enter their phone number.

Many consider a dangerous application because it collects confidential information about people.

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have suspended due to violation of the Personal Data Protection laws. Despite this, the developers of Codebusters released a similar app called GetContact_.

How to remove your number from the database

Once you register an account in the app, your data and telephone book fall into the database. In order to remove your number from the overall list, you need to:

• → open the app go to Settings → «on GetContact» → Account Settings → «Delete account";

• come on site GetContact;
• go in Unlist tab;
• enter your phone number and click Unlist.

the phone number is removed from the database within 24 hours.
