Xiaomi has introduced a smart clothes dryer. It can hold up to 35 kg of things

Xiaomi showed new smart home device in Mijia series: Smart Clothes Dryer 1S Multi-function. This is an improved version of the regular 1S model that offers additional features.

The main innovation was the support of cold and hot drying. The manufacturer claims that this is a solution for regions with a changeable climate: in summer you can turn on the cold mode, and in the winter - hot, in both cases achieving the optimal result.

Another difference was the addition of ultraviolet lamps, which decontaminate things like socks and underwear. To do this, just put things on a wire shelf and select the appropriate setting.

The dryer is designed for a large family and can hold up to 35 kg of clothes and other things. It has 38 hanger holes, 32 clips, 4 ropes and 2 baskets. The dryer itself can be hung or built into the ceiling.

Like other devices in the series, the novelty supports control through Mi Home and can work in conjunction with other gadgets. Voice control only in Chinese, through XiaoAI assistant. Also included is a remote control.

Xiaomi Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 1S Multi-function was priced at 1199 yuan (≈15,100 rubles). The dryer went on pre-sale at the Xiaomi Mall crowdfunding and should go on public sale soon. An international release has yet to be announced.
